Every day, in many ways, and at every level of government, you are being tricked into erasing your freedom.

Here is an astounding fact right out of several US Supreme Court Majority opinions:

Congress can't amend the US constitution at all, and state legislaturess can't amend state constitutions without the expressed consent of the people. Only the people can amend state constitutions, by voting in open elections at the state level. At the federal level, the US constitution can only be amended through the separate but identical acts of three-quarters of the state legislatures.

Neither congress nor any state legislature can pass a law that changes or erases any part of the constitution that binds them!

However, you can effectively erase your liberty by believing that congress or legislatures can do those things. However, you do this to yourself by believing in and yielding to an illusion. The illusion is based on the assumption that when congress or the legislature acts and the president or governor signs, the result is necessarily a law. Yet it is a fundamental principle of constitutional law that the constitution is supreme and that any law that conflicts with it is void from the beginning.

So how do you lose your rights? By going along to get along, and in no other way:

"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many Citizens, because of their respect for what appears to be law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their rights due to ignorance. 
--the US Supreme Court in US. v. Minker, 350 US 179 at 187

This is happening at every turn, from the great lie of the so-called Patriot Act all the way down to local police issuing speeding tickets in illegal speed traps. It even shows up as state and local transportation departments building unsafe roads and streets and illegal intersections in violation of established legal guidlines, structures which then put you and your loved ones at risk, or serve as immoral sources of government revenue in the form of unnecessary traffic fines and court costs assessed on hearings, trials and lawsuits.

But what can you do about it? It is so pervasive, after all! Meanwhile, you're working long hours, pursuing a career or building a business, raising a family.... Even if you try to pick your battles, trying to wage the fight yourself on even the small things alone can cost you dearly. And that's not the worst part. Even when citizens do fight back alone and win on local issues, they seldom set binding legal precedents and the rulings they win are not applied to the next case, whose legal-system victim must start the process all over again. The abuse continues and society normally does not benefit from the isolated individual's sacrifice and risk.

Finally, there is a solution!

LawfulGov.Org exists to serve as your surrogate in the defense of your freedoms, taking political and legal action on your behalf so you don't have to unnecessarily put yourself at risk to preserve your freedom and property against hyperactive and or immoral government.

Instead of you putting yourself on the line, you help us do it for you. But not only for you, even if yours turns out to be the "poster case". When a citizens' advocacy group takes legal action, it does set a precedent because it's not just a defensive action taken solely by an individual against a direct infringement of his or her person or property. No. Think in terms of the American Civil Liberties Union. They only defend some of your rights and then in sometimes strange ways, but when they win a lawsuit, it sets a precedent that affects everyone. Unfortunately, they do not defend all of your rights. In fact, they are more likely to support government in its violations of certain of your rights: in particular your rights to keep and bear arms and your right to practice the religious sentiment of your choice according to your own conscience, despite both of those rights being clearly declared in the Bill of Rights, the First and Second Amendments.

When a citizens' advocacy group takes legal action, it's in aggressive defense of a sound legal tenet or principle, and it benefits everyone. Were such a group to exist which would defend all of your rights, all of the time, then the world would indeed be a different place and government would be returned to its proper role as your servant rather than its pretense of being your master.

That group is LawfulGov.Org.

The innovation is that rather than requiring everyone to be always looking over his shoulder and continuously spoiling for a fight, we are concentrating the effort into a coordinated national vested interest in support of liberty that will have the focus and the power to perform the duty because of the support, membership and service of individuals like yourself contributing awareness and resources, and acting in concert.
